Our moderation guidelines

We've created these guidelines to give you a clear understanding of how we'll moderate online contributions. It's all to help foster an open, honest community - a place that's constructive, inoffensive, and inviting for everyone.

Please be aware that all participants are responsible for their own actions. And while we have moderation guidelines in place, the opinions expressed by participants in contributions are those of the contributor alone, and don't in any way reflect the opinions of UBank. Nor are they endorsed by us or our employees.

We'll not censor or prevent publication of contributions submitted because they differ from the views of UBank, or can be considered critical of our services - unless the contributions are expressed in ways that contradict these guidelines. However, where we feel it's appropriate, we might respond.

We review all contributions submitted for inclusion on the UBank website to ensure they adhere to these guidelines.

We reserve the right not to publish (or remove) contributions without notice that contain:

• Personally identifiable information (such as telephone numbers, email addresses)
• Personal abuse or insults
• Coarse language, swearing or covert swearing
• Advertising/self-promotion
• Spamming, viral, chain or repetitive submissions
• Defamatory content
• Trademarked or copyright terms used without consent of the legal owner.

In addition to the above, from time to time content may be considered inappropriate by the moderator - and we may not publish this until further clarification can be sought from the contributor or UBank.

Conditions and limitations

i. By submitting your photo, video or other contents, you certify that you hold the required unreserved copyright and that it's original work by you. You also certify that you have all rights required by any people depicted in the submission to hold such copyright, and to have the right to upload the content.

ii. By submitting your photo(s), video(s) or other content, you agree to grant UBank all rights required to use your submission in current and future promotions of UBank, including, but not limited to, publishing your submission in whole, part or modified version on the UBank website(s), UBank Facebook page(s), and other UBank promotional materials.

Copyright

UBank respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who may be repeat infringers. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide us with the following information:

1. an electronic or physical signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest
2. a description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed
3. a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site; your address, telephone number, and email address;
4. a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
5. a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorised to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf.
